BCAT Community Meeting
Join us on Zoom at 5:00 p.m. on January 27th for BCAT’s Community Meeting and a presentation by Marilyn Murray, Director of communications at LOVE146.
There is healthy debate about the cost and benefits to awareness efforts around human trafficking, especially around their sensationalism and use of stereotypes. But if audiences can’t care and engage with the issue, how can progress be made?
Marilyn will join our group to pass along what she has learned about how to share about this issue. Marilyn will share some insights about marketing around social issues, as well as give tips on how to be helpful while raising awareness and communicating to public audiences about child trafficking in particular, and using a more trauma-informed approach.
LOVE146 is an international human rights organization working to end child trafficking and exploitation through survivor care and prevention.
