The NOVA Mission

NOVA strives to be a hopeful light for individuals healing from serious crimes, and for the greater community as it works to end patterns of violence.

Until no one is victimized.

Mission Statement

NOVA supports and empowers victims of crime in Bucks County and works to prevent violence through training, advocacy, and prevention education.

NOVA Vision

NOVA envisions a society free of violence where all children and adults are treated with dignity and respect.

NOVA Values

COLLABORATION: We are committed to keeping collaborative teamwork at the heart of our approach. We cultivate partnerships and strive to create a united environment for healing; knowing that supporting victims and preventing violence is a collaborative effort.

INCLUSION: We respect and honor the privacy, diversity, and dignity of every individual. We embrace diverse thinking as a means to help us develop intentional processes to further meet our mission.

ACCOUNTABILITY: We are accountable to our clients, our community, and our partners. We hold each other accountable to our goals and to upholding our organizational values. We are thoughtful and intentional stewards of the resources entrusted to us.

EMPOWERMENT: We promote self-efficacy in all areas of our work. From the community members we work with, to our staff, we support each person’s agency in pursuing their own growth.

COMPASSION: We strive to ensure that all interactions with clients, team members, the community, and partners embody respect, understanding, and empathy.

INNOVATION: We recognize that the community’s needs are constantly changing and that we must collectively adapt to meet them. We are dedicated to staying relevant and will evolve our programs and services where necessary, remaining innovative in our approach.
