In 2008, NOVA, with the support of the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, Bucks County Children and Youth, and all local police departments, founded the Bucks County Children’s Advocacy Center. The goal was to transform the county’s approach to child abuse by creating a child-friendly environment where a dedicated team of professionals could collaboratively investigate allegations, conduct forensic interviews, assist in prosecuting offenders, and connect children and families to therapy and victim support services—always prioritizing the child’s best interests.
Over the past 15 years, the Bucks County Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) has helped over 4,500 children, each with a unique story. For many, the CAC is the first place they can share their experiences without fear of judgment. The CAC relies on your support to continue offering a safe space for child abuse victims to be heard, where a compassionate and trauma-informed team provides care and assistance.
