One of the important ways we raise funds for NOVA and introduce our work to potential new partners is through fundraising events. There are different ways you can get involved with one of NOVA’s fundraising events. You can attend, become an event sponsor, or donate products and/or services. Have an idea for an event or want to learn more about getting involved? Contact us at Development@novabucks.org.

Attend an Event

From large community events to small gatherings of friends, NOVA events happen across Bucks County throughout the year. Some events, like NOVA’s Annual Gala and Upstander Day, are opportunities to show support for NOVA’s mission and have fun. Other events are hosted by supporters like you to raise funds or awareness. Event Sponsorships

When you become an event sponsor, you not only provide valuable funding to NOVA, you also receive opportunities to promote your business or organization. Sponsors get pre and post-event recognition press materials, on-site and website logo branding, and acknowledgement on the NOVA website and social media pages. Donate Products and Services

An important fundraising component of events at NOVA are the live/silent auctions and raffle items. We strive to package unique items and experiences for our event guests to help raise funds to support NOVA programs and services. These packages include trips, tickets to local events, autographed memorabilia, fine dining experiences, and much more. In-kind donations of products and services are recognized through social media, on the event website, in the event program book, or at the event. Join us on April 30, 2025 to show your support for survivors of sexual violence and end victim blaming.

We invite you to join us in raising awareness about this critical issue and making a meaningful impact during Sexual Assault Awareness Month. 

Here’s how your organization can get involved: 

1. Wear Denim & Donate: Invite employees to wear denim on April 30 and contribute a donation to support NOVA’s programs and services. Donations can be collected on-site and picked up by a NOVA staff member or made directly through our website or venmo (@NOVABucks).  
2. Spread Awareness: Share information about denim day, and post photos of participating employees in denim on social media. Be sure to tag us so we can share your efforts!
3. Alternative Support: If wearing denim isn’t an option for your employees, we can provide teal ribbon pins to show support – suggested donation for each ribbon is $2.00.

All donations directly support NOVA’s mission to Support Victims and Stop Violence. As a thank you for your participation, your organization will receive a social media shoutout for participating and helping to raise awareness.
